Subject: The Center for Human and Behavioral Research Ethics at National Yang-Ming University will hold the "2023 Research Participant Protection Ethics Workshop (II)" on April 28, 2026. All colleagues are cordially invited to register.
Instructions:
I. Course Information: Please see the attachment for details.
(I) Registration is open from now until April 16, 2026 (Thursday), limited to 120 participants. Registration website: https://forms.gle/7hvxPAibraMzewEq9. Registration requires a Google account. If you do not have a Google account, please contact the organizer directly.
(II) Registration Fee: Free for faculty (medical staff) and students of National Yang-Ming University (including affiliated hospitals). Part-time faculty members will be charged NT$300 per person (excluding remittance fees), the same fee as external applicants. Please complete payment before the deadline and then complete registration online.
(III) Course Date: April 28, 2026 (Tuesday), 14:00-16:00.
(IV) Course Location: Online, Ciso Webex.
(V) Course Topic: Research Ethics and Informed Consent for Vulnerable Groups: IRB Review and Case Studies.
(VI) Course Instructor: Huai-Ti Huang, Project Consultant, Bo-An Biomedical Legal Team.
II. Training certificates will be sent via email within two weeks of the course's conclusion. Participants must attend the entire course and complete attendance and check-out (satisfaction questionnaire) and the post-course quiz. A 2-hour training certificate will be issued. Those who pass the post-course quiz (70 points or above) will receive an additional 1-hour training certificate.
