The EMI Teaching Resource Center of National Taiwan Normal University, together with nine other partner universities including Fu Jen Catholic University, is jointly organizing bilingual alliance cross-university open observation and discussion classes, roundtable meetings, and AI lectures.

I. In the second semester of the 2025 academic year, the EMI Teaching Resource Center of our university (hereinafter referred to as "the Center"), in collaboration with the Office of Bilingual Education Promotion of our university, the College of Textiles and Clothing of Fu Jen Catholic University, the Bilingual Education Center of National Taiwan University, the Office of the College of Business of National Taipei University, the Bilingual Teaching Resource Center of Feng Chia University, the Foreign Language Teaching Center of Tzu Chi University, the Language Center of National Chung Cheng University, the Teaching Development Center of Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology, the Office of Academic Affairs of Kaohsiung Medical University, and National Kaohsiung Normal University, jointly organized 18 "Cross-University Open Observation and Discussion Classes." Among these events, a series of one-day roundtable discussions and AI lectures were also held in cooperation with Feng Chia University and Kaohsiung Medical University.

II. Our center conducted 14 cross-institutional open observation and discussion classes on EMI (Electronic Imaging) in the first semester of the 2025 academic year, and continued with 18 more cross-institutional open observation and discussion classes in the second semester of the 2025 academic year, featuring open classes taught by teachers who had returned from off-site training. These classes invited EMI teachers from various institutions to share their teaching practices and provided opportunities for mutual observation and professional dialogue among EMI teachers nationwide through on-site observation, expert feedback, and teaching exchanges.

(I) Cross-institutional open observation and discussion classes: EMI teachers from our center who participated in training at the University of Texas at Austin in the summer of 2025 and the University of New South Wales in Australia in 2026 and returned to Taiwan will be invited to publicly demonstrate their classes, providing concrete teaching demonstrations and practical references for EMI teachers. Each session will invite relevant experts and scholars as panelists to conduct post-class discussions and exchanges, jointly exploring possible directions for improving EMI instructional design, classroom practice, and teaching quality.
(II) Bilingual Alliance Roundtable and AI Lecture: This session focuses on the concepts, methods, and implementation of open observation and discussion courses for bilingual empowerment. The AI ​​lecture will emphasize how to use AI to assist instructional design, support the development of critical thinking in EMI classrooms, and facilitate the exchange of practical cases and interdisciplinary teaching experiences.

2. April 20th: (Central Region) Feng Chia University.
