The Ministry of Education commissioned Providence University and I-Shou University to conduct research on the "2025 Academic Year Higher Education Media Literacy Curriculum Development Project - Media Literacy Seed Teacher Training Workshop".

I. Purpose of the Workshop: This workshop is primarily aimed at teachers in higher education across the country. Starting with the basics of media literacy, it extends to the process of lesson plan creation, the interpretation of media phenomena, and the difficulties and solutions encountered in the teaching field, gradually deepening the understanding of media literacy and teaching the design methods of related teaching materials. It also serves as a foundation for future development of media literacy courses in higher education institutions, the construction of teaching reference modules, seed teacher training, and the cultivation of a collaborative teaching community.

II. Workshop Dates, Locations, and Registration Methods:

(I) Central Taiwan Workshop

1. The workshop will be held on May 9th, 2026 (Saturday) at Room 343, Information Office, Ren Yuan Building, Providence University (No. 200, Section 7, Taiwan Blvd, Shalu District, Taichung City). 2. (II) Southern Region Workshop

1. The workshop will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Seminar Room 60412, 4th Floor, International College, I-Shou University (No. 1, Section 1, Xuecheng Rd., Dashu Dist., Kaohsiung City). 2. Registration for the workshop will be conducted online from now until 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Please fill out the registration form at (https://reurl.cc/O6V7qR). 4. Teachers are encouraged to participate actively, and workshop hours will be provided to participating teachers.
