Subject: NSTC and the Slovak Academy of Sciences (SAS) are jointly soliciting international cooperation projects under the NSTC-SAS bilateral agreement for 2027. Applications are open from now until May 18, 2026 (internal deadline for submissions).

Notes:
1. This solicitation is based on the scientific cooperation agreement signed between NSTC and SAS.

2. Project applications must be jointly completed by the project leaders from both Taiwan and Slovakia and submitted separately to NSTC and SAS. Taiwanese applications must be compiled and submitted through the system by the project leader's institution; late submissions will not be accepted.

3. Selected projects are scheduled to begin implementation on January 1, 2027, for a period of 1 to 3 years. Funding will be provided through an add-on mechanism under the bilateral agreement. Applications not selected for funding will not be accepted.

4. Please submit one copy of the application guidelines. Related information has also been published on the NSTC website.
