[Lecture] The Taiwan Green Citizens Action Alliance Association will hold an online lecture on "Germany's Path to Nuclear-Free Transition" on May 11, 2026 (Monday). All are welcome to register and participate.

I. Event Introduction: This lecture will focus on Germany's energy transition experience, introducing the background of its energy policy development, the history of its nuclear energy policy, and the current status of renewable energy promotion. It will also provide a comprehensive explanation of issues such as nuclear facility decommissioning, nuclear waste management, and related social communication mechanisms, using the German case to understand the impact and challenges of different policy choices.

II. Speaker Introduction:

(I) Dr. Bernd Redecker is an environmental scientist with a major in ecology and environmental education. He currently works for Friends of the Earth (BUND), one of Germany's largest environmental organizations, and serves as the spokesperson for the Nuclear and Radiation Protection Working Group. Dr. Redecker has long been concerned with energy policy, nuclear risks, nuclear facility decommissioning, and nuclear waste management, and has participated in related research and public affairs, possessing rich practical and communication experience.
