The National Science Council and the Czech Technology Agency (TACR) are jointly soliciting research proposals from legal entities for international cooperation linkages under bilateral agreements between Taiwan and the Czech Republic in 2027.

Subject: The National Science Council (NSC) and the Czech Technology Agency (TACR) are jointly soliciting research proposals for international collaborative projects linked to the Taiwan-Czech bilateral agreement for 2027. Applications are open from now until June 18, 2026 (internal deadline is June 18, 2026).

Notes:
1. This solicitation is based on the Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific Cooperation signed between the NSC and TACR.

2. Project applications must be jointly completed by the project leaders from both Taiwan and the Czech Republic and submitted separately to the NSC and TACR. Taiwanese applications must be compiled and submitted through the system by the project leader's institution; late submissions will not be accepted.

3. The project team of the Taiwanese applicant must link with domestic research institutions and relevant domestic industries.

4. Selected projects are scheduled to commence on January 1, 2027, for a period of 1 to 3 years. The grant will be provided by Taiwan through a bilateral agreement-based add-on funding model. Applications not awarded will not be accepted.
