I. This four-day event will focus on policy oversight, trust governance, infrastructure maintenance and security, exploring important issues such as digital content governance, social risk response, and network resilience. A brief summary is as follows:
(I) The joint opening keynote speech will feature Steve Crocker, President of the Edgemoor Research Centre, who will lead the discussion on "How to Enhance Trust in a Fragmented Internet"; Jeremy Godfrey, Chairman of the Irish Media Commission, will provide an in-depth analysis of "Reconciling Digital Markets and Public Interest: Rights, Risks, and Next-Generation Regulation."
(II) The ICANN APAC-TWNIC Internet Governance Forum will bring together internet stakeholders and the international community to discuss registration data governance, DNS security and resilience, and the evolution of identification systems. It will also provide an in-depth analysis of the development of the Domain Name System in the new era and engage in in-depth dialogue on the "Multi-Stakeholder Model."
(III) The 44th APNIC-TWNIC IP Policy and Resource Management Conference will provide in-depth insights into key technologies of emerging global and Taiwanese internet services, guiding participants to grasp the latest application development trends and jointly define the future internet ecosystem.
(IV) The TWNIC Community Forum will primarily discuss domain name innovation in branding, services, and digital applications; and will explore protocol upgrades and application strategies from the perspective of IP resources, as well as DNS protection mechanisms, sharing how to effectively reduce the risks of phishing and malicious behavior.
(V) The TWIGF Taiwan Internet Governance Forum will discuss how, with escalating geopolitical risks and the increasing politicization of digital technology and critical infrastructure, the traditional internet governance model, centered on globalization, open networks, and multi-stakeholder governance, is facing unprecedented challenges and adjustments.
(VI) The Taiwan Tech Women session will bring together female representatives from digital policy, internet infrastructure, industry, platform services, and civil society to exchange ideas on how to promote more inclusive participation, collaboration, and leadership in digital governance through concrete practices.
(VII) The 7th Taiwan Internet Operations Community Forum focuses on internet operations and technology issues, bringing together the internet engineering, operations, and technology communities to exchange practical experience and development trends in Internet Operations, Peering, DNS, security protection, and emerging internet technologies.
