I. This symposium focuses on "Social-Emotional Development," examining the developmental processes of emotional understanding, regulation, social interaction, and self-awareness throughout an individual's life journey, and exploring support strategies and practices in educational contexts. Unlike Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), which primarily focuses on curriculum or skills development, this symposium emphasizes exploring the social-emotional development needs of students at different stages of development and their educational implications from a developmental perspective, a life education perspective, and educational practice experience.
II. The following are the topics for submission:
(I) The Scientific Basis of Social-Emotional Development.
(II) Life Education and Educational Programs.
(III) Educational Practices and Promotion of Social-Emotional Development.
(IV) Social-Emotional Development in Rural Education and for Disadvantaged Students.
(V) Other Issues Related to Social-Emotional Development and Life Education.
