The 2019 National High School Business Plan Competition, hosted by Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, was held recently at the Niantsi International Conference Hall. The teams that signed up this year showed great enthusiasm. From Rodong to Pingtung, there were 156 teams from all over the country. The competition was divided into three groups: Marketing Planning Group, Entrepreneurial Planning Group, and English Commodity Presentation Group. After rigorous and preliminary selection, each of the three groups selected 15 teams to be finalists. Eight teams were invited to make their presentations at the venue. The competition was very intense. More than 260 teachers and students were present at the event, which was a rare competition for high school students in the field of business management in South Taiwan.

The purpose of the "National High School Business Plan Competition" was to encourage students can simulate actual new ventures or solve specific brand marketing problems through writing and teaching business projects. In the competition, the products on the web were explained in English, by which students can learn the ability to write a business plan and improve their oral proficiency and English presentations. Participating teachers from different schools also had the opportunity to observe and exchange teaching experiences. The competition process was wonderful, and both the teachers and students were excited and rewarded via the feedback of the competition community.

Vice President Ming-Tsai Lai of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology pointed out in his opening speech that the high school job planning and special production competition held by the College of Business Administration of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology has seen its 12th year. Over the past eleven years, STUST has seen the infinite creativity and outstanding performance of high school students every year. This year, STUST also expected everyone to be able to show their strength and their best performance. This competition would allow high school students to connect with the university. Through the planning competition, graduates can comprehensively apply what they have learned and then propose thoughtful solutions to the actual problems. Competitions would stimulate more new thinking inject new vitality into Taiwan's future economy.

In the fierce competition, the team led by Mei-Zu Chen, a teacher from the National Tainan Senior Maritime Aquatic Vocational School, was deeply praised by the judges for their outstanding performance. At the same time, she won the Excellent Award of Marketing Planning and Entrepreneurship Planning Group. The Catholic Deguang Senior High School won excellent and superior results in the English Commodity Commentary Competition.
