STUST is shortlisted as one of the preferred teams by the entrepreneurship simulation learning platform of the Ministry of Education. The entrepreneurship practice simulation learning platform of colleges and universities has created an entrepreneurial environment by means of virtual fundraising. In the 110 academic year, the students of STUST went through a fierce competition. In the end, two teams (Splash Chicken Rice and SpineUp) were shortlisted as the best teams, and each received a 100,000-NTD Maker Fund subsidy.

The students of STUST showed infinite creativity, and the entrepreneurial team's idea was favored by many judges and the public. The "Splash Chicken Rice" team was formed by Sheng-Chi Chang, Ting-An Chen, g Zhong-KaiZhen, and Jia-Yi Huang and guided by Prof. Kun Ouyang from the Department of Creative Product Design. They offered a set of individualized and practical Interesting lower extremity training product—FUN TO GO—which mainly trains children's limb coordination, knee flexion and extension, muscle endurance, muscle strength, etc. Adjustable training content design can meet the needs of children with different lower extremity conditions, with a game interactive interface to increase the fun of training, thereby improving the overall training effect. Another shortlisted team, "SpineUp", was developed by Prof. Kun Ouyang from the Department of Creative Product Design and formed by Jin-Tsi Wang, Rui-Ling Lin, Yu-Zhen He, Yu-Kuan Mo, and Pei-Yang Su. "SpineUp" is a product for teenagers with mild to moderate scoliosis. The designed back frame is equipped with an interactive interface physical therapy to increase the therapeutic effect. The back frame is made of breathable and comfortable cotton material, which can be put on and off by itself with a modular kit. Based on the principle of correction, a three-point pressure system is used. Compression is performed, with the changes in the spine angle and body shape of the adolescent. The user can return to the clinic to check and fine-tune the angle with a physical therapist.

Deng-Maw Lu, President of STUST, said that STUST upholds a pragmatic and practical campus culture, builds a learning atmosphere of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, and is committed to guiding students' creative ideas toward industrial application development, assist in the commercialization of innovative research and development results, spread the research and development results on campus, and create a three-in-one systematic rooted education. This time, two teams from STUST were shortlisted for the selection team of the entrepreneurship and actual combat simulation learning platform of colleges and universities, showing the society's interest in nurturing students of STUST. In recognition of its achievements of innovation and entrepreneurship, in the future, STUST will continue to invest in special production funds and entrepreneurship resources, and provide teachers and students on campus with more resources for innovation and entrepreneurship, so that STUST will become a unicorn in innovation and entrepreneurship education.
