The College of Digital Design at STUST hosted its annual OPEN DAY on March 15, transforming the N Building Concert Hall into an interactive event titled “Digital Dream Launch Camp.” The event welcomed over 70 participants from 27 high schools across Taiwan, including educators, students, and parents, immersing them in the boundless possibilities of digital design. Planned collaboratively by five major departments—Information Communication, Visual Communication Design, Creative Product Design, Multimedia & Entertainment Science, and Popular Music Industry—the camp provided an engaging, hands-on experience in digital creativity.

The camp kicked off with an electrifying performance by the university’s idol group—
NTS x ONE from the Department of Popular Music Industry. The event also featured interactive gaming challenges designed by the Department of Multimedia & Entertainment Science, allowing participants to experience the convergence of digital technology and music firsthand. Following this, Dean Bing-zhang Chen introduced the college’s curriculum, officially launching an immersive journey into digital education. Participants toured key campus facilities, including the weatherproof stadium, six-dormitory student housing, Yoho Hall, the library, and the W-building Magnificent Hall. Visitors then engaged in department-specific interactive experiences: the Department of the Information Communication—virtual influencer lab & studio operation drills; the Department Visual Communication Design—3D modeling & creative design workshops; the Department of Multimedia & Entertainment Science—game art design applications; the Department of Creative Product Design—creative product workshops & presentations; the Department of Popular Music Industry—rehearsal hall lighting & sound experience, drum master class, and live band interaction. Through this all-encompassing digital exploration, visitors experienced cutting-edge technology, engaged with expert faculty, and gained hands-on exposure to the creative industries.
