The 114 academic year joint graduation exhibition of the College of Digital Design at STUST, themed "0.36 Seconds of Design," was grandly opened at Sanlian Hall on campus April 15–18. This exhibition brought together five major departments: the Department of Information Communication, the Department of Visual Communication Design, the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science, the Department of Innovative Product Design, and the Department of Popular Music Industry, jointly presenting students’ accumulated creativity and design achievements over the years.

The theme of the exhibition, “0.36 Seconds of Design,” suggests how the essence of a designer’s long creative process is condensed into the brief moment a viewer spends appreciating the work. Students’ works embrace the “new ugly style” design concept, exaggerating everyday visuals and incorporating mistakes as part of the aesthetic. The work "SPACE" by the Department of Visual Communication Design explores the infinite possibilities of design. The work "Boundless" by the Department of Innovative Product Design showcases a breakthrough in growth, the work "2359" by the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science displays the self-identity of the digital generation, and the work "Akira" by the Department of Popular Music Industry expresses the flow of youth through music. On the other hand, the work "21 Vision" by the Department of Information Communication blends technology and imagery to convey the narrative of human-machine coexistence.
