Design talents of STUST won five awards in the 2020 SOLIDWORKS God of Design Competition.
After a fierce competition, the 2020 SOLIDWORKS God of Design Competition announced the list of winners and completed all the awarding procedures. Department of Optoelectronics at STUST won the first place in the Solar Photovoltaic Innovative Design and Application Competition over the 2020 Taiwan International Smart Energy Week
The 2020 Taiwan International Smart Energy Week recently took place in Nangang, Taipei. The three fields of "Solar Photovoltaics," "Wind Energy," and "Smart Energy Storage" are connected to form an energy triangle, with a total of 130 manufacturers and 500 booths, to showcase the best solutions for energy creation, energy storage, and energy conservation.

The USR Joint Education and Educational Talents Program by the Department of Child Care at STUST offered gifts designed by college students to children in the areas.
Under the funding subsidy of the Teaching Practice Research Project of the Ministry of Education for its "USR in Practice: Service Learning in Child Care as a Teaching Research Project for Co-educational Education and Protection Talents," Prof. Zhi-Sheng Chen from STUST recently presented the teaching aids designed by college students to Tainan Jianjin Kindergarten. There was a rich variety of teaching aids given to children in rural areas.

STUST held the Dining Activity for the Elderly, bringing nutrition, curisin, and food safety together into a whole.
STUST implemented the 2020 Community Health Project of the Bureau of Health and Welfare, Tainan City, gathered the university’s teachers of the Department of Elderly Welfare and Services and the Department of Hospitality Management, together with the food safety experts in Tainan City and HACCP central kitchen, and launched the Dining Activity for the Elderly. It was held at Wennan Community Activity Center a few days ago.
