2019/11/14 Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the Excellency Reward of Prototype Contest in the 5th Reality Fantasy Pioneering Model Festival. Reality Fantasy Pioneering Model Festival, which has been popular among various animation creators and fans at home and abroad, has entered its 17th year. The Prototype Contest of Reality Fantasy Pioneering Model Festival, first held in the 12th year, has entered the fifth year. This year the contest was based on the theme of Eudemons, animals, and monsters. It has attracted many prototype creators. Jie-Kai Tsao 2019/11/13 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the Fundraising Dinner for Disadvantaged Students, with more than 400 honorable guests in attendance. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology recently held the 2019 Fundraising Dinner for Disadvantaged Students at Huaping Memorial Hall of Dongdong Banquet Hall in Tainan City. The dinner was hosted by STUST Career 2019/11/12 Taiwan Global Internship Program Plus (TGIP+): the Ministry of Education and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology are working together to create a bright future for digital games in Taiwan. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology implemented the Taiwan Global Internship Program Plus by the Ministry of Education, which is to bolster talents to intern in Japan's top professional companies for three years. During the implementation period, a total of nine workshops were held, 301 trainees were trained, and 36 students were selected. The trainees went to the top professional companies in Japan and Thailand for internships, creating a myriad of fruitful results. 2019/11/8 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology held the achievement exhibitions of the 2019 Comic Industry Talent Cultivation Plan by the Ministry of Culture for talent students of comic production from North, Central and South Taiwan. The achievement exhibitions of the 2019 Comic Industry Talent Cultivation Plan, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and organized by the Department of Multimedia and Entertainment Science, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology and ViewSonic Technology, was held for talent students of comic drawing from North, 2019/11/7 "Children's Creative Teaching Talent Training and Employment Program" was listed as an excellent course of Humanities, Social and Cultural Creativity by the Labor Development Department of the Ministry of Labor. The "Children's Creative Teaching Talent Training and Employment Program" of the South Taiwan University of Science and Technology Department has achieved outstanding performance.
