2017/6/7 Department of Creative Product Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won a number of prizes in the 2017 New Generation Design Industrial-Academic Cooperation Project Awards College of Digital Design, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology participated in the 2017 New Generation Design Industrial-Academic Cooperation Project Awards, and the work "Between the Fingertips," created by the team directed by Prof. Kun Ouyang of the Department of Creative Product Design and Prof. Tse-Wei Lin from the Department of Biomedical Engineering Department, NCKU, won the Gold Award in Microsoft Group. 2017/6/5 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology passed the AACSB international business education certification: Director Yu-Hui Yang of the Bureau of Technical and Vocational Education, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology has recently passed the AACSB international business education certification. The 5th of June saw the certification mark opening ceremony and its press conference held at STUST. Yu-Hui Yang, Director of the Bureau of Technical and Vocational Education, the Ministry of Education, was invited to give a lecture on "Prospects and Innovation in Technical and Vocational Education. 2017/5/27 Tainan City Government held the "Live in Tainan and Work in Tainan" Job Hunting Fair in Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, attracting more than 5,000 job seekers and reaching a 63% success rate. Tainan City Government held the "Live in Tainan and Work in Tainan" Job Hunting Fair in Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology on the 27th of May, trying to find great staffers for businesses and great jobs for the citizens. It gathered such sectors as service, industry, science and technology Industry and other 109 manufacturers, who released a total of 7,204 job opportunities. 2017/5/23 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology participated in the 2017 Student Practicum Project Competition of Universities of Science and Technology Nationwide: three works stood out with their dazzling brilliance. Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology participated in the 2017 Student Practicum Project Competition of Universities of Science and Technology Nationwide held by the Ministry of Education.
