A total of 250International students were invited from such countries as Canada, Malaysia, Peru, Haiti, India, Mongolia, Vietnam, Austria, Malaysia, Iraq, Kingdom of Swaziland, Thailand, Turkey, Japan and China. They came in 13 groups to participate in stage performances, showing different customs of their countries. 2017/5/15 Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology awarded the highest honor of "Best School Award of the Year" for three consecutive years in the 2017 VISION GET WILD Exhibition. The 2017 VISION GET WILD Exhibition, organized by Kaohsiung Software Park and co-sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Ministry of Education was held in Kaohsiung Exhibition Center, which encompassed such digital content as animation, games, cross-field Interactive technology, multimedia, design, action applications and many others. The awards ceremony was held at the 12th of May. 2017/5/10 Associate Professor Yi-Chun Du of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the 2017 Best College Associate Professor Yi-Chun Du of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, won the 2017 Best College Teacher of Tainan City in "SUPER Teacher Award" organized by the "National Federation of Teachers' Union."
