A major cybersecurity vulnerability announcement was recently released. This vulnerability (CVE-2025-69258, CVSS: 9.8) is a security weakness in the LoadLibraryEX function used by Trend Micro Apex Central. Attackers can remotely load a malicious DLL under their control into a critical executable file on the system without authentication and execute the attacker's code with SYSTEM privileges.
