公告內容	一、為協助各校銜接EMI課程，學校應對學生提供充分培訓與支持，並建議於大一起開設ESP(English for Special Purposes，專業領域英文)課程，以結合校內英語教學單位與各學院需求，奠定學生良好的專業領域語言基礎，接軌 EMI課程。二、國立臺灣科技大學EMI教學資源中心特與國立臺北科技大學合作辦理「ESP專業英文師資增能認證」課程，導入國際學術資源及專業英文課程建構經驗實踐分享，銜接各校特色之全英語授課(EMI)教學方針，從ESP與EMI面向雙軌並進，全面推動雙語教學。相關報名資訊如下： (一)課程時間：115年4月11日~115年5月23日，共計24小時。 (二)辦理方式：混成式課程，含線上及實體。 (三)辦理地點：Google Meet及國立臺北科技大學(實體成果分享)。 (四)課程講師：國立臺北科技大學應用英文系、Fulbright英語教學顧問團隊聯合授課。 (五)參訓對象：各大專校院專任(案)英語教師或EMI教師。 (六)報名連結：https://forms.gle/iuB82u7PsH9stth69。 (七)報名日期：即日起開放報名至3/27(五)止，錄取名單將於4/2(四)公告。 (八)聯絡資訊：國立臺北科技大學雙語中心李小姐，聯絡電話：(02)2771-2171分機 1165，Email： chiachi@mail.ntut.edu.tw。 (九)活動海報詳附件。本課程內容含講授、討論及演示，並提供研習證明。課程依實際執行狀況調整，如有異動，以報名表單最新公告資訊及活動議程為主。三、ESP為教育部推動雙語計畫之重點項目，建請貴校積極鼓勵並遴派ESP及EMI教師參與。四、配合2030雙語國家政策之推動，教育部於113年起委託國立臺灣科技大學成立EMI教學資源中心，提供全國大專校院教師/學生EMI相關服務。更多培訓資訊及多元的活動內容，歡迎參考臺科大EMI教學資源中心網站：https://ntusttlc.ntust.edu.tw/。 I. To assist schools in bridging the gap in EMI courses, schools should provide students with ample training and support. It is recommended that schools offer ESP (English for Special Purposes) courses starting from the first year of university. This will combine the needs of the school's English teaching units and various colleges, laying a solid foundation in students' professional language skills and facilitating their transition to EMI courses. II. The EMI Teaching Resource Center of National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, in collaboration with National Taipei University of Technology, is offering the "ESP Professional English Teacher Certification" course. This course introduces international academic resources and shares practical experience in constructing professional English courses, bridging the gap between schools' unique English-taught (EMI) teaching policies. It promotes bilingual teaching through a dual approach of ESP and EMI. Registration information is as follows: (I) Course Dates: April 11, 2026 – May 23, 2026 (24 hours total) (II) Format: Blended course, including online and in-person sessions. (III) Location: Google Meet and National Taipei University of Technology (in-person results sharing). (IV) Course Instructors: Jointly taught by the Department of Applied English, National Taipei University of Technology, and the Fulbright English Teaching Consultant Team. (V) Target Participants: Full-time (or part-time) English teachers or EMI teachers from universities and colleges. (VI) Registration Link: https://forms.gle/iuB82u7PsH9stth69 (VII) Registration Period: Registration is open from now until March 27 (Fri). The list of accepted students will be announced on April 2 (Thu). This course includes lectures, discussions, and demonstrations, and a certificate of completion will be provided. The course is subject to adjustment based on actual implementation. In case of any changes, the latest announcement information on the registration form and the activity agenda shall prevail. III. ESP is a key project in the Ministry of Education's bilingual program. We encourage your university to actively encourage and select ESP and EMI teachers to participate. IV. In line with the 2030 Bilingual Nation Policy, the Ministry of Education commissioned the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) to establish the EMI Teaching Resource Center in 2024 to provide EMI-related services to faculty and students in universities and colleges nationwide.
