Language Center of National Pingtung University offers a free course for foreigners who would like to learn Chinese and Taiwanese Culture. 1.Eligible applicants: People 16 or older who have recently arrived in Taiwan. Foreigners who'd like to be able to read and write Chinese. 2.Course dates / times: 18:30-21:20 Wed evenings; March 7 - May 23, 2018. 3.Course includes: (1)Course includes: Chinese classes (2)Cultural art and craft experiences. (Chinese calligraphy and Peking opera masks). (3)Textbooks. 4.Course quota: 30 students 5.Cost: The course is offered free of charge. At the beginning of the course, students must pay a deposit of NT $1,000.
