一、本校EMI教學資源中心(以下簡稱本中心)配合2030雙語政策及大一英文改革，協助各校學生銜接EMI課程，建議於大一起開設ESP（English for Specific Purposes，專業英文）課程，將職場情境與領域需求融入大一英文教學內容，奠定學生良好的專業領域語言基礎，接軌EMI課程與未來職場需要。

二、本課程旨在強化教師在科技領域的專業英文授課實務能力，引導教師將研習所學回饋教學現場，以帶動學生科技領域之專業英語能力整體提升。

I. In line with the 2030 bilingual policy and the reform of first-year English courses, the EMI Teaching Resource Center of this university (hereinafter referred to as "the Center") recommends offering an ESP (English for Specific Purposes) course in the first year of university to assist students in bridging the gap between EMI courses and professional English courses. This course integrates workplace scenarios and industry requirements into the first-year English teaching content, laying a solid foundation of professional language skills for students and bridging the gap between EMI courses and future workplace needs.

II. This course aims to enhance teachers' practical ability to teach professional English in the technology field, guiding them to apply what they have learned to the classroom, thereby promoting the overall improvement of students' professional English skills in the technology field.
