Dear Students and Faculty,
As digital learning resources like e-books and online materials become a major part of our daily studies, our university wants to remind everyone to respect and protect Intellectual Property (IPR).
Please take a moment to read the following important rules to avoid breaking copyright laws.

🎯 The Core Rule
DO NOT download, copy, share, upload, or transmit any unauthorized e-books, teaching slides, exam banks, or homework solution manuals.

⚠️ Beware of the "File-Sharing" Trap
Many document-sharing platforms use an "exchange system" where you must upload a file to download another.
• It is ILLEGAL to upload copyrighted textbooks or teacher materials to these sites just to get download points.
• Even if you only upload one chapter or a small part of a file, it is still a copyright violation.
• Violators can face serious civil and criminal penalties.

🛑 5 Important Guidelines for Everyone
1. Do Not Use: Never download or share study materials from unknown or unauthorized sources.
2. Do Not Upload: Do not upload copyrighted files to file-sharing websites, cloud drives, social media, or Generative AI platforms (like ChatGPT) for others to use.
3. Do Not Leak (For Faculty): Instructors must secure publisher-provided materials, teacher-only accounts, and download links. Do not share them with students or public networks.
4. Use Official Channels: Always get your learning resources legally through the university library, authorized databases, or official publisher platforms.
5. Campus Safety: The university will continue to monitor campus digital platforms and teaching websites to lower the risk of copyright infringement.

Let’s work together to build a legal, respectful, and safe learning environment at our university!
