Deng-maw Lu, President of STUST, said that this conference invited experts and scholars from various fields of digital design to gather together to communicate from the perspective of academic and industrial practice. Concerning contemporary issues, they jointly published the most cutting-edge research applications. He hoped that the relevant results would be helpful to the research and application of technology media and digital design. This year the symposium not only solicited general academic papers but also included practical creative reports. This indicated that forward-looking design trends not only need to incorporate digital and innovative concepts, but also require equal emphasis on basic theory and applied practice. This conference collected 124 relevant papers and reports. A total of 31 teachers, students, and professionals from 31 universities and institutions submitted their manuscripts to discuss the latest innovations. It is hoped that through different perspectives, the participating design and production can made specific contributions to the development of digital design and technology industries.
